450 Bushmaster AR

I have 2 AR lowers. One will be a .223/5.56 for a truck/coyote rifle.

The second I'm thinking of building a 450 Bushmaster.

What is this caliber good for?

Good "Brush Gun" caliber?

Can I use a "Hard Cast" Bullet and get good results?

Now that I am reading up on it I'm thinking 458 SOCOM.

I don’t know your hunting regs there, but many States are adding straight walled calibers to deer hunting in the State. Iowa has, not sure if you hunt out of State either. But, for that reason I would personally go BM over the Socom. Good luck w whatever you decide though.

There are guys around that own both. More 450 guys it seems.
It would be 450Bushmaster all the way for me. --- SAWMAN
